Stopping the slide
When this Castor Bay clifftop property lost 5 metres of its front lawn down the bank – with indications that more was about to go – the engineers jumped on the phone to PoleSpecs.
With the client’s house blocking access for earthmoving equipment, and the cliff unlikely to support heavy machinery, PoleSpecs worked with the engineer to devise a solution to give the house long-term support at the right price. We choppered in a small earthmover and poles. The only drama in the project was in the photos.
PoleSpecs carried out the repairs without incident, protecting the client’s investment and cementing our reputation as the ‘go to’ guys when the stakes are high.
